Anyone who has ever talked to me knows that I love BU more than I really should. The funny thing is that during my first year here, I thought about transferring literally EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. A so cal Asian chill kid moving across the country to a school in the most racist city in America. You guess the plot.

It took time and good people to slowly court me into loving BU. Finding yourself in college is so difficult and different for everyone because it's the first time you're feeling out your skin as an adult. Like take in how big and daunting that is. Cut yourself some slack for even taking it on.

Pep talk aside, all this is really just to explain my reasoning for making this video. Coming into fall semester 2020, I knew how hard it would be for new students to adjust to campus. In my time working with ASU that summer, I had already heard so many hesitations about going to college, taking a gap year, prepping for a racist covid driven encounter. So, since I was interning right there in Boston, I took a weekend just to film a breakdown of campus with my friend Frank. If I could just share some of the warmth that I knew BU had given me, hopefully it would give some future Terriers some peace of mind.
